Last week, a good and true person on Reddit imagined what Game of Thrones would be like if every character were played by standalone thespian Nicolas Cage, and found it to be markedly better than the real thing. The resulting Photoshop series went viral, proving that the people clamour for more Nicolas Cage content, or Cagetent. They cry out for it, the way a man might cry out if he were covered in a swarm of angry bees.

Many people are unaware that, back in the depths of the ’90s, filmmaker Tim Burton planned his own Superman movie, Superman Lives, with Cage as the titular superhero. A documentary about the abortive film, The Death of Superman Lives, is coming out on July 9, and to catch people’s interest the producers have released the Holy Grail of Cagetent: ultra-rare footage of a ’90s Nicolas Cage, long, flowing hair and all, trying on the famous Superman suit.
