Season Two Of ‘True Detective’ Just Found Its First Lead
Co-starring with this lovable horse (not really).
In an interview with The Sunday World on Saturday (which has the confusing subheader ‘Your World, Every Day’ despite clearly being named after only one day of the week), In Bruges star and professional soulful Irishman Farrell confirmed he was starring in the second series of critically acclaimed HBO drama True Detective — and that said season will therefore contain gargantuan amounts of furrowed brows and wounded staring from Farrell’s big, puppy-dog eyes.
Although his partner-in-crime-and-existential-musings has yet to be picked (current rumours have it at Jessica Biel, which is a bit of a bummer after all the talk of Rachel McAdams or Elisabeth Moss), the first announcement sadly puts the kybosh on all those excellent potential pairings Twitter came up with while waiting for answers.
