Following December’s curveball announcement that popstar Kesha was locked in as a headliner in 2018, Bluesfest has just pulled another rabbit out of its hat: R&B icon Lauryn Hill.

The Grammy Award-winning artist will be performing exclusively at Bluesfest — sorry, rest of Australia — which will be her first show in the country since she toured here back in 2014.

It’s a significant year for the singer: 2018 marks 20 years since her groundbreaking record The Miseducation Of Lauryn Hill was released, meaning that Bluesfest audiences will almost certainly be treated to a special anniversary performance.

Hill joins artists such as Seal, Robert Plant, Michael Franti and Spearhead, Sheryl Crow, Melissa Etheridge and Jackson Browne on the 2018 line-up. Check out the full bill below.

Bluesfest takes place over the Easter long weekend at Tyagarah Tea Tree Farm near Byron Bay. Tickets are on sale now.
