In news that is going to thrill your inner 12-year-old, frosted-tipped wonders the Backstreet Boys have returned with a brand new single, titled ‘Don’t Go Breaking My Heart’.

The track is the band’s first release in five years, and while it unfortunately isn’t an Elton John cover, it does feature all the original members — that’s Nick Carter, Howie D, Brian Littrell, AJ McLean and Kevin Richardson.

Better yet, ‘Don’t Go Breaking My Heart’ is accompanied by a wondrously camp music video, which features group choreography straight out of the ‘I Want It That Way‘ era. All that’s missing is the badly photoshopped airport.

The track is the first single off their upcoming new album, which will be the band’s tenth. There’s no official release date or title yet, but it’s due out sometime later in the Spring. They’ve also reportedly got another album in the works — a special release celebrating 25 long years together as a band.

“Fans might get two albums this year,” Littrell told Entertainment Weekly. “You’re going to get a brand new tenth album with all new material and then you might get a few surprises on another album, who knows? Never count the Backstreet Boys out.”

They’ll be going out on tour next year to celebrate their anniversary and showcase tracks from the new album — no word yet on whether they’ll be heading Down Under.

Until then, wrap your ears around ‘Don’t Go Breaking My Heart’ below.
