George R R Martin went on Late Night with Seth Meyers last night NY time to spruik The World of Ice and Fire, a compendium/encyclopedia thing about the world of Westeros that he’s been working on when he should’ve been finishing the books, George.
Amy Poehler also dropped by because why not, and her and Meyers grilled Martin on his GoT knowledge by reading out quotes and challenging GRRM to remember which character said them. He got most of them right, but he really dropped the ball on “winter is coming”, which as we all know was coined by Westeros 9 meteorologist Breeze Daniels.
George R R Martin’s giggle is the cutest thing I think I’ve ever heard.
