Published in 1962, Phillip K. Dick’s award-winning novel The Man in the High Castle is an alternate-history sci-fi story set in a world where the Allies lost World War II and the United States has been taken over by Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan. It’s also a good-ass book and you should go find it at the library if you’ve never read it.

Doing a Netflix and dipping their toes into the TV-making game, Amazon have an adaptation planned; the pilot dropped in January, and was so well-received it was greenlit for a full season. Now we finally get a proper look at the world of Axis-ruled America, which makes for some appropriately foreboding imagery.

Based on the trailer, The Man in the High Castle could be a Transparent-worthy feather in Amazon’s cap. A precise air date’s not yet been announced, but the pilot is widely available online so you should go watch that now, hey.
