Alec Baldwin has once again donned orange face-paint and a muskrat hair wig to play Donald Trump in SNL‘s third and final mock presidential debate.

Hosted by Tom Hanks as Fox News moderator Chris Wallace, the cold open mocked the contest as being “a lot like the third Lord of the Rings movie: you don’t really want to watch, but hey, you’ve come this far.”

Donald Trump Has A Whinge About Alec Baldwin, Accuses The Media Of Rigging The Election

Baldwin’s Trump began by promising to keep his voice down, a pledge that lasted all of about five seconds before a question on reproductive rights had him screaming about “ripping babies out of vaginas.”

Kate McKinnon as Hillary Clinton had a much more measured response, asking “what two better people are there to talk about women’s issues? Me, a woman who has had a child and has taken birth control, and him, a man who is a child, and whose face is birth control.”

The sketch also made fun of Trump’s “bad hombres” and “nasty woman” remarks, as well as Clinton’s habit of dodging questions about her email scandal. Baldwin even joked about Trump having the support of “the best Baldwin brother”, after his sibling Stephen said earlier this week that Alec’s impersonation was “getting a little too nasty.”

It’s funny to think that with the election just a few short weeks away, this could be the last time that we see Baldwin play this part. Unless of course Trump manages to win, but then that’s a scenario so terrifying that it really doesn’t bear entertaining.
