I don’t have a clever intro for you. Please just wrap your eyeballs around this heartwarming footage of a woman proposing to her girlfriend on stage at a Kehlani concert in Melbourne last night.

The American singer was midway through her set at The Forum when she took a break to shout out her support for marriage equality.

“I’m gay as fuck… and I understand there is a situation surrounding marriage equality in Australia right now,” she said.

“I also understand that they are doubting the youth, thinking their votes don’t count,” she continued. “If you are registered to vote, please go and fucking vote. Everybody up here stands with you and supports you.”

She then invited a woman onto the stage, who in turn asked her partner Gemma to join her.

“I honestly don’t know what I’d do without you, or our dog,” said the woman, over the cheers from the crowd. “You turn my frown upside down.”

“I want to spend the rest of my life with you.”

I’m not here to tell you how to feel or anything, but if this doesn’t make you cry then you might need to go and talk to a professional.
