Someone Bought A Far Right Group’s Web Domain And Is Trolling Them With A Furry Dating Site

A Canadian man has bought the web domain for a far-right anti-immigration group called the Wolves of Odin, and turned it into a furry dating site. As pranks go, it’s a pretty bloody good one.
The Wolves of Odin made headlines in Canada last week after an offshoot from the group calling themselves The Clann confronted worshippers at a mosque in Edmonton. According to their Facebook page, the group is dedicated to the defence of Canada’s citizens and way of life against the “growing immigration crisis” and foreigners “that wish to impose their laws and ideologies upon us”.
But if you type wolvesofodin.ca into your web browser, you’ll find something very different:
The new site was created by local man Brady Grumpelt, who told The Star he “just wanted to take it away from somebody that might use it for hate”.
“I’ll take whatever power I can away from them and use it for something else,” he added.
Grumpelt also said that he’s been sent art from members of the furry community to include on the website.
“The initial version was a lot more graphic.”
The Wolves of Odin should not be confused with the Sons of Odin, an Australian-based anti-Muslim group who themselves spun-off from a Finnish group of the same name. Although to be fair, they’re all cunts, so it’s an easy mistake to make.
A message at the bottom of the new Wolves of Odin web page notes that the URL can be purchased by making a $10,000 donation to #HateFreeYeg, a grassroots organisation dedicated to “building a hate free Edmonton”.
