There’s A Trailer For The Imaginatively Titled Gender-Flipped Remake Of ‘What Women Want’
Now with 100% less Mel Gibson!
Normally we’re not that keen on Hollywood remakes, but it’s probably safe to assume that no one is going to be upset by producers tarnishing the ~legacy~ of What Women Want. The mediocre rom-com is getting a do-over next year, only this time it’s a woman who can read the thoughts of men. Guess what they’re calling it?
The gender-flipped remake stars Taraji P. Henson as a sports agent who unlocks the power to read men’s thoughts and uses her newfound gift to get ahead of her sexist male colleagues. Erykah Badu and Tracey Morgan co-star, along with Shaq for some inexplicable reason.
Does it look amazing? Not really. But it’s got 100 percent less Mel Gibson than the last one, so that’s a big plus.
What Men Want hits cinemas next year.
