Are you the kind of person who refused to be in the same room as a TV after watching The Ring, or threw wild-eyed terror at random passersby after It Follows? Do you straight-up refuse to look in the bathroom mirror after getting home from a scary movie? Well, good luck being literally anywhere after the upcoming horror movie Don’t Breathe, my jittery friend. This one will make you scared of moving, breathing, and especially being in the dark.

The new film from Evil Dead director Fede Alvarez, Don’t Breathe follows a cash-strapped group of friends (Jane Levy, Dylan Minnette, and Daniel Zovatto) who decide to rob a vision-impaired guy (Stephen Lang) and get spectacularly tripped up in the process. The man proves to be a more refined kind of John Jarratt character who’s just out for the blood of dirty thieves and hmm, it’s hard to tell if you can really blame him.

The film is due to hit cinemas across Australia on September 1 but we have 130 double passes to give away across three special advanced screenings in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. To get your hands on some, just tell us in 25 words or less, what makes your heart pound and why (minds out of the gutter, thanks). Entires close on August 24 at 11.55pm.
