We may think Hungry Jack’s, our Australian branch of the Burger King franchise, is pretty unique what with having a completely different name. How special are we? Well, in Finland Burger King has something more unusual than a changed name or Bacon Deluxe Combo Meal going for it, because there’s a Burger King in Helsinki with a built-in sauna.

In Finland taking a sauna is a common social activit so it’s pretty canny for the burger chain to localise their restaurant in this way. The sauna has room for 15 people, and there’s also a 10-person spa. It has TVs and a video game console, white-rock heaters, and Burger King-branded benches and robes. Staff from the restaurant swing by at intervals to take orders, though they plan to add tablets that can be ordered from direct to save sweating customers from having to wait for their whopper.

Before you plan a visit for your next trip to Finland you should know that it costs 250 euros, or about $AU389, to book the burger sauna for three hours.
