The Weeknd’s Halftime Show Featured A Hall Of Mirrors And An Army Of ‘Us’ Lookalikes
It was A LOT.

The Weeknd threw everything and the kitchen sink at his Superbowl LV Halftime performance, bashing through a slew of greatest hits on a glittering set.
Prior to the show, The Weeknd had insisted on almost doubling the performance time for his set — blowing out the slot from 13 minutes to 24 minutes — but in the end, his whole set wrapped up around the 14-minute mark. He also reportedly sunk $9.1 million of his own money to make sure the set was to his liking (the NFL is usually responsible for the cost of the performance).
It was suitably slick — the Canadian superstar ran through tracks like ‘Blinding Lights’, ‘Can’t Feel My Face’, ‘Starboy’, ‘I Feel It Coming’, and recent single ‘Save Your Tears‘. Despite speculation that he’d be bringing out guests like elusive helmet-wearers Daft Punk, and Kendrick Lamar, neither appeared. He was, however, joined by an army of lookalikes that resembled the cast of Us a little too closely for our liking.
And I was wondering why I was getting Get Out/Us vibes lmaoo #SuperBowl #TheWeeknd pic.twitter.com/hIMH86X8Cg

The set was appropriately OTT — featuring glittering skylines, a shit-tonne of fireworks, and a gold and glittering hall of mirrors.
