George Miller’s apocalyptic demolition derby, Mad Max: Fury Road has been full of surprises. When the trailer was first released we predicted that it was going to be a great way to completely switch off your brain; now its gender politics and incredible cinematography are being intensely debated in every corner of the internet and it’s being lauded as one of the most progressive action films of all time. Whups.

To make it clear exactly how far this film has departed from everyone’s expectations, here it is mashed into the opening theme of a witty and political Tina Fey sitcom. Just like the characters in Unbreakable Kimmy Schimdt, the women in Mad Max have escaped imprisonment from their doomsday cults, they’re looking for a better life, and they’re all STRONG AS HELL.

Hey TV execs: I would watch the shit out of a spinoff series where Imperator Furiosa and Kimmy Schimidt are kooky best buds who live together in post-apocalyptic NYC.
