Let the video for ‘No Frauds’ be a lesson to us all: never, ever make enemies with Nicki Minaj.

Minaj’s new track is is the latest move in a decade-long beef between her and rapper Remy Ma. Long story short: Nicki started the feud in 2007 by taking aim at Ma on a track. In 2008, Ma went to prison for six years after being convicted of a shooting in New York. With Ma now a free woman, the beef reached new heights this year when she dropped ‘ShETHER’, a track that takes aim at Minaj’s alleged sexual history, her brother, and her butt implants.

‘No Frauds’ is Nicki’s response to ‘ShETHER’. The video — which dropped today, following the release of the track in March — is both amazing and bone-chillingly terrifying. It’s not just Minaj on the offensive: she’s also recruited Drake, Lil Wayne and even one of Ma’s oldest friends for back-up. If I were Remy Ma, I would feel very anxious watching this.

In an open letter to fans, Ali explained that her and Remy’s friendship deteriorated while they filmed the most recent season of VH1 series Love & Hip-Hop, but that they are not “in any shape or form enemies”. Says Ali: “I am not working with Nicki out of spite or payback. Nicki and I were friendly long before the rap beef unfolded with Remy.”

Okay, sure. But this lyric from Nicki is pretty savage: “Sheneneh, you a fraud committin’ perjury / I got before and after pictures of your surgery / Rah took you to her doc, but you don’t look like Rah / Left the operating table, still look like ‘Nah’.”

God bless Aubrey Graham for repeatedly debasing himself in Nicki’s videos.  This is also around the point in the song where Nicki tells Remy her and Drake laughed about ‘Another One’, one of her other Minaj diss tracks, and the video cuts to a shot of the two of them laughing. :(
