Gird your loins: a new trailer and release date for Season 3 of Ted Lasso is finally here.

It’s been almost two whole tumultuous years since the team at AFC Richmond graced our screens. We last left the crew in bittersweet shambles after a tournament win that pushed a jealous Nate to leave the team.

Now down a coach, but back in the first grade league, it’s time for the third and final season of Ted Lasso. So, of course, what better way to announce their return than with the return of the iconic “Believe” poster?

In the new trailer Keeley, Rebecca, Jamie, Sam, Danny, Leslie, Isaac, and Roy all make their own distinctive “Believe” posters to the tune of ‘I Still Believe’ by Frank Turner. “Well, if seeing is believing, I believe we’ve been seen,” Ted says, after seeing the team’s new posters in the locker room.

Apple also shared the season’s official synopsis, which reads:

“In this third season of Ted Lasso, the newly-promoted AFC Richmond faces ridicule as media predictions widely peg them as last in the Premier League and Nate, now hailed as the “wonder kid,” has gone to work for Rupert at West Ham United. In the wake of Nate’s contentious departure from Richmond, Roy Kent steps up as assistant coach, alongside Beard.”

“Meanwhile, while Ted deals with pressures at work, he continues to wrestle with his own personal issues back home, Rebecca is focused on defeating Rupert and Keeley navigates being the boss of her own PR agency. Things seem to be falling apart both on and off the pitch, but Team Lasso is set to give it their best shot anyway.”

The trailer also confirms that Ted Lasso Season 3 will be streaming weekly on Apple TV+ from March 15.
