The Spooky New Netflix Series ‘Stranger Things’ Is A Nostalgia-Packed Spielberg Film Gone Wrong
And it stars Winona Ryder!
It’s no exaggeration to say that Netflix has been producing some of the most exciting television of the last few years (praying that Jenji Kohan really is making that show about female wrestlers in the ’80s). Today they have dropped a mysterious trailer for a new series called Stranger Things, a show that has tinges of 1980s nostalgia and also stars Winona Ryder!
The premise is kind of like a Steven Spielberg-directed nightmare: small town, missing kids and supernatural occurrences. (Also: kids riding push bikes in the rain, because obviously.)
Spooky! Stranger Things will drop on Netflix on July 15.
