We’ve Got Our First Sneak Peek At The ‘Spicks & Specks’ Reunion Special
And just about every musician in Australia is there.
Next month, the glorious ABC quiz show Spicks & Specks will return to our screens in a one-off special.
News broke in late August that the beloved show would be making a return as part of ABC’s Aus Music Month, and now we’ve got our first glimpse at exactly what madness the cast have in store.
By the looks of it, it’s going to be large: the trailer features musicians like Daniel Johns, Kram, Tripod, and Montaigne, while guests like Briggs, Denise Scott, Ricki-Lee Coulter, and Frank Woodley look to be on the panel. Get around the sneak peak below:

Spicks & Specks hit our screens back in 2005, and while it was originally billed as a local version of BBC quiz show Never Mind The Buzzcocks, the show ended up becoming a quintessentially Australian TV experience.
The show ended its seven-year run at the peak of its popularity in 2011, and such was the enduring love for it that the ABC attempted to revive it with new hosts only three years later. But lightning didn’t strike twice, and the reboot was canned after only 20 episodes.
The November show is being billed as a one-off — but here’s hoping the ABC considers extending the run. The full Spicks & Specks reunion will kick off at 7.40pm on Sunday, November 4.
