Spicks and Specks, one of the most beloved music television programs in Australia’s history, is making its grand return in 2021.

The whole gang is coming back with the show, too. Adam Hills, Myf Warhurst and Alan Brough have all been confirmed to return, with Hills once again taking emcee duties and Brough and Warhurst serving as team captains.

This isn’t just a one-off special, either; as Warhurst herself has confirmed on Twitter, it’ll be a whole series of the program.

That’ll be welcome news for those fans of the program who have had to live without it for so long. After the seventh season of the show, which aired back in 2011, Spicks and Specks went on a lengthy hiatus, popping back over the course of the near-decade with a string of brief reunions, the most popular of which was a 2018 special.

As for the date that the series will be returning, that’s still pretty vague and unconfirmed — all we know at this stage is that it’ll be some time in 2021. So hey, that’s more impetus to close your eyes and wish away the horror of 2020.
