Netflix Just Dropped The Trailer For The ‘Sense8’ Series Finale

The series finale that was never supposed to be is very nearly upon us. Almost a year after pulling the plug on one of the boldest, most ambitious, most-inclusive sci-fi programs ever created, Netflix has dropped a trailer for one last episode of Sense8.
The two minute promo for the one-off, movie-length finale reunites viewers with the show’s international cast of characters, who are on a mission to save one of their own. It makes for an especially emotional experience given how hard fans had to campaign to get the finale made at all.
“I wish I could cluster with you to share some of the beautiful moments, the hugs, tears and laughter, as well as the insightful and humbling conversations I have had with the people who have connected to this show,” wrote series co-creator Lana Wachowski in June last year after the finale had been greenlit. “They are unlike any fans I have encountered as an artist.”
“Improbably, unforeseeably, your love has brought Sense 8 back to life.”
The final episode of Sense8 hits Netflix on June 8.
