Crikey reporter, Cam Wilson reckons he has found the Spotify account of none other than Scott Morrison and in a viral TikTok has shared the top 3 things he learned.

It appears that Prime Minister, Scott Morrison has had his account on public for a while without realising. In a TikTok posted last night, Wilson shares what he believes to be some interesting tidbits about ScoMo’s listening habits.

Surprising absolutely no one, the first observation Wilson makes is that the PM loves his Christian Rock. ScoMo loves listening to bands like Hillsong, Horizon Creative and Jesus Culture, all of whom feature heavily in the PM’s playlists.

The second observation Wilson makes is that Scotty has the corniest names for his playlists. That’s right, Scotty is the kind of guy naming playlists after himself. Some of his top created playlists are titled bangers like, “How Good Is Oz Rock?”, “Scotty’s ’80s” and “ScoMo’s Worship”.

Finally, Wilson reckons that Scott Morrison’s alleged Spotify account has some very unexpected music genres attached. While observing Morrison’s supposed listening habits, Wilson caught the Prime Minister listening to some heavy metal and EDM, specifically Tiesto.

Taking a look at the alleged Spotify account Wilson links to ScoMo there’s also some interesting recently listened to artists. Morrison’s recently played artist list includes Spandau Ballet, Tears For Fears, Grace Jones, Madonna, Pet Shop Boys, and even Prince.

If you are interested in joining the 500+ people following the account on Spotify, here it is. Cam Wilson also reported his findings after following the account for Crikey earlier this week.

Between the shambles otherwise known as the vaccine rollout, a national resurgence in COVID-19, and a Nationals leadership spill, ScoMo had a busy week. A busy week that the PM apparently handled by listening to Prince’s “Let’s Go Crazy” and Cutting Crew’s “(I Just) Died In Your Arms” over the weekend.
