‘Schitt’s Creek’ Fans Are Spending Quarantine Recreating The ‘A Little Bit Alexis’ Dance

We all know that self-isolation can get pretty boring and lonely.

But one thing we know we always have to keep us company is Schitt’s Creek. And beyond Moira Rose’s bafflingly beautiful accent and pronunciation of the word “bebe“, one of the best parts of the entire series is easily Alexis Rose’s audition routine.

In case you’ve forgotten, the scene comes from the Season 5 episode, ‘The Hospies’. While auditioning for the town revival of Cabaret, Alexis Rose performs some choreography to ‘A Little Bit Alexis’, the “critically reviewed” theme song of her “limited” reality series.

Naturally, the absolutely ridiculous lyrics and dance moves lent itself perfectly to TikTok. Dressed in similar long-sleeved dresses, people started sharing their almost flawless renditions of ‘A Little Bit Alexis’.

New York City dancer Marissa danced in front of her TV playing the Schitt’s Creek scene, and looked exactly like Alexis during it — curly hair, red dress, knee-high boots and all.

And when makeup artist Michaela Paskell tried her hand at the dance, her dress might not have been the right colour, but she nailed every single move.

While TikTok user Jimmy Pezzino didn’t have the iconic thigh high boots, he did embody the Alexis Rose attitude and that’s what’s important.

Each person recreating the iconic scene mostly just perform the first verse of the track and stop at the moment where Moira and Jocelyn Schitt look at each other and wince at Alexis’ questionable audition.
