Peter Dutton Has Confirmed He Has Coronavirus
Queensland Health confirmed his test returned a positive result for coronavirus this afternoon.
Home Affairs Minister Peter Dutton has confirmed he has coronavirus.
In an online statement he said he woke up this morning with a temperature and a sore throat, and was advised by Queensland Health this afternoon his test returned positive.
Dutton was admitted to hospital as per Queensland Health advice.

He’s not the first politician around the world to come into contact with the virus.
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is currently in isolation after his wife tested positive, and Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro was tested after his aide tested positive. That aide also met with US President Donald Trump.
