In you still have A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out, then we have the remedy: pop-punk heroes Panic! At The Disco are returning to Australia with an arena tour this October.

It’s been twelve years since the band’s debut album — meaning that frontman (and now sole band member) Brendon Urie has been validating teenage angst and catalysing sexual awakenings for more than a decade.

Perhaps most integrally, the soap-operatic ‘I Write Sins, Not Tragedies’ gave us one of the most important lyrics of recent history — “and I chime in with/haven’t you people even heard of closing the Goddamn door, no?”

While it’s undoubtedly time to break out your Jay Jays skinny jeans, paint your nails and straighten your jet-black fringe, the tour won’t be a complete nostalgia trip. The tour’s off the back of Pray For The Wicked, PATD’s upcoming sixth album, so expect to hear a couple of newer tracks among the favourites from your try-hard emo days.

Panic! At The Disco will be performing in Sydney, Adelaide, Brisbane and Melbourne. Tickets are on sale June 22 — more info is available here.
