‘Pam And Tommy’ Series First Look At Sebastian Stan And Lily James Is Blowing People’s Minds
The series will delve into the case of the famous couple's infamous sex tape.
Starring Lily James and Sebastian Stan, Pam and Tommy will delve into the notorious drama surrounding Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee’s infamously leaked sex tape.
Whether you’re a pop-culture fanatic, Mötley Crüe fan, or a fan of James or Stan — folks have been anxious for a peep at the series since it was announced last year. On Friday night, Hulu tweeted the first teaser images, featuring Sebastian Stan as Tommy Lee and Lily James as Pamela Anderson.

In one of the photos, Stan and James recreate one of the couple’s many iconic photos with James biting Stan’s nipple ring. Two more photos showcase Stan’s and James’ spookily accurate transformations into Mötley Crüe drummer, Tommy Lee and actress, Pamela Anderson.
Props should go to the hair, makeup and costuming team too who have impressively and completely recreated Stan and James in Pam and Tommy’s image. Fans are already calling the transformation award-worthy and they’re not wrong.

The official synopsis of Pam and Tommy reveals what you’d expect. The series is a “comedic limited series on the true story behind the release of the first-ever viral video in history—the sex tape of Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee.”
For those not familiar with this moment in pop-culture history, Anderson and Lee were famously married 96 hours after they met in 1995. During their honeymoon, bitter porn star, Rand Gauthier, stole the couple’s sex tape and attempted to sell it for distribution. 1000s of bootleg copies were sold worldwide. Gauthier will be played by Seth Rogan in the series. Rogan is also the series’ producer.

Pam and Tommy will be directed by award-winning Australian filmmaker, Craig Gillespie. Gillespie’s filmography includes iconic films, Lars and the Real Girl, Fright Night, and worked with Stan previously on I, Tonya.
Unfortunately, as of early May 2021, an official release date has not been set. But I cannot wait to see it for… historical education purposes.
