Netflix Just Dropped The Trailer For Its First Australian Drama ‘Tidelands’
Think 'True Blood' meets 'Ocean Girl'.
Netflix has unveiled the first trailer for its first ever Australian-made original series, Tidelands. And it actually looks pretty good!
The show is set in the fictional coastal community of Orphelin Bay, and follows an ex-convict (played by Charlotte Best) who returns home only to become embroiled in the world of “tidelanders”, mysterious Siren-like creatures led by Adrielle (Elsa Pataky) who share the town with its human population.
From what I can tell it’s basically True Blood meets Ocean Girl. And I am very much on board.
Tidelands hits Netflix on December 14.
