The live action cartoon that is the The Fast and the Furious franchise is being turned into an actual cartoon, courtesy of Netflix, Universal and DreamWorks Animation.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the series will follow Tony Toretto, teenage cousin to Vin Diesel’s Dom Toretto, as he’s tasked by the government to infiltrate an elite racing league that is actually a front for a crime group bent on world domination. Also he has a wisecracking robot car sidekick, probably.

There’s no word yet on whether actors from the film series will be involved in the show in any way. Mostly, I just want them to deliver #JusticeForHan.

Never forget.

We’ll let you know as soon as the show has a release date. Meanwhile, the ninth and tenth films in the series are set to hit cinemas in 2020 and 2021.
