In case you missed it, CBS just aired Oprah with Meghan and Harry, which really was just two hours of revelation after revelation.

As it was the couple’s first interview since leaving the royal family, Oprah managed to get Meghan Markle and Prince Harry to chat about a whole bunch of stuff they had never actually touched on before.

With “no questions off limits”, Meghan chatted about her expected naivety going into the royal family, her surprisingly good relationship with the Queen, and the shocking discussions around how “dark” Archie’s skin would be.

Beyond that, Meghan Markle also frankly opened up about the issues she faced while being a senior royal, including the media and public pitting her against Kate Middleton and how being a part of the family led her to suicidal thoughts. Then, once Prince Harry joined in, even more shocks came to light, like how Prince Charles, Harry’s own father, started screening his calls when the couple decided to leave the royal family.

One of the biggest takeaways of the interview, however, was that the Queen was never blindsided by the couple’s decision. In fact, Meghan and Harry shared that they are in regular contact with the Queen. Instead of a hatred for their roles or the monarchy, Harry and Meghan revealed that it was actually the institutions inability to support and help the couple that was the reason they decided to step down from their senior royal duties.

On a lighter note, Meghan and Harry also used Oprah with Meghan and Harry to reveal the sex of their next baby, which, adorably, is a girl! Plus, Prince Harry shared that the couple do sometimes watch The Crown, too.

But for the most part, the only word that can properly sum up the entire two hour interview is: TEA. Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were not afraid to answer the burning questions the world had, and Oprah wasn’t shy to make sure those questions were answered, and as a result, the memes about the whole thing are glorious.
