It’s won about 7000 Emmys and Golden Globes, so the hype aroundThe Marvelous Mrs Maisel isn’t unjustified.
Honestly, it’s a real feel good show, and sometimes that’s exactly what you need in a TV show. Midge Maisel is beautiful, she’s exceptionally talented, she’s funny, she’s a force of nature. Her perfect life is really only briefly shadowed by a few things. Sounds insufferable, but it’s not!
I truly love this show, and I love Midge, and I love that we get a new season of this perfect show.
Season 2 ended with Midge’s comedy career about to properly take off, and from the trailer The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel season 3 is going to mostly take us on the road, as she does her first comedy tour. I don’t want to sound too bold, but I predict that hijinks MAY ensue.
But, to be honest, I was already super excited.
What I DIDN’T expect was to be pointing and screaming, because Paris Geller from Gilmore Girls is there. Liza Weil has obviously worked a lot with Amy Sherman Palladino, and I am JUST SO EXCITED TO HAVE HER IN THIS SHOW. I love her. This is everything.
Anyway, let’s watch.
