At least he's guaranteed an 8-bit one.

In his time as a Hollywood movie star and glorious internet meme, Leonardo Dicaprio has starred in a bunch of really great films, and often been given little decorative metal cups for it. But, from his stand-out performances in classics like Titanic and Romeo + Juliet to more recent hits like The Wolf of Wall Street and that video of him dad-dancing like a maniac at Coachella, Dicaprio has consistently missed out on nabbing an Oscar.

He’s been nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actor without winning three times, but his fourth nomination — which is for The Revenant at this year’s event — could be the ticket. But at this point, people would probably prefer that it’s not. After all, Leo getting snubbed for an Oscar is the universal pop culture in-joke that unites us. It’s also the reason for this deeply important new video game, Leo’s Red Carpet Rampage.

The aim of the arcade-style game, which is free to play on the website, is fairly obvious: help Leonardo Dicaprio finally collect “the ultimate award”. By racing down a red carpet, you must collect as many Emmys and Golden Globes as you can, while watching out for paparazzi, Lady Gaga and icebergs. It is both genius and perfect, and I sincerely hope Leo is playing it alone in a mansion somewhere right now.
