Please Enjoy These Fever Dream Videos Of A Very Fast Pig Running To Your Favourite Pop Music
You haven't lived until you've seen a javelina running to Nicki Minaj.
The internet, and Twitter in particular, is very good at producing these videos that seem barely real. Case in point — a string of videos depicting a very fast pig, set to pop music.
Let’s backtrack for a minute. This whole bizarre story started earlier this week, when footage was captured of a javelina running extremely fast through the streets of Tucson. For those living in a javelina-free world, the creature is a medium-sized porcine beastie, similar in shape and size to a wild boar. Javelinas also smell extremely bad, and you’re more likely to smell one coming than you are to see them.
Who knows where the javelina from this particular video was off to, but she sure needed to go there in a hurry. I mean, just look:

Quickly, the internet turned the javelina into something of a mascot. And not long after that, ingenious internet denizens began setting the creature’s bid for freedom to music.
First up, Nicki Minaj’s ‘Roman Holiday’:

But then, shortly thereafter, pretty much every pop song you can imagine got involved, from Queen to Charli XCX:

All of them are, of course, mini-masterpieces.
I for one just hope that the little javelina got to where she needed to go. Godspeed, little piggie.
