Might Jack Black be our most well-rounded movie star?

The man can do comedy. He can do drama (who can forget the emotional and human moments of School of Rock, for instance?) He can do movies in which he’s a beloved children’s book author holding off an army of evil, possessed ventriloquist’s dummies. Oh, and he can sing.

For decades now, Black has shown off his musical prowess as one half of Tenacious D, a cult comedy band that craft songs that are as hilarious as they are genuinely involving. ‘Tribute’, their masterpiece, might be 18 years old, but it hasn’t aged a single day.

Well, just in case you needed a reminder of any of these skills, Black has dropped a video in which he and his favourite mates sing a Rocky Horror Picture Show classic in order to encourage Americans to vote. And wouldn’t you know it: it’s a dream.

Co-starring Phoebe Bridgers, film director John Waters, failed Presidential candidate Elizabeth Warren, and Rocky Horror‘s Susan Sarandon, amongst so many others (Eric Andre! Ezra Miller!), it’s an oversaturated delight.

Who knows if another sing-along will actually shift the dial either way for the American Presidential election — it seems pretty clear people are sick of celebrities banding together and telling them what to do through the power of song. But hey, at least we got a fun cover out of it.

God bless Jack Black, is what I’m saying, essentially.
