Created by Reid Parker, a Melbourne man with excellent Photoshop skills and a pretty decent beard, ‘It’s Better With Batman’ delivers on its beautifully simple premise of Photoshopping Batman into situations where, in normal circumstances, no Batman should be.
It’s the bottle opener of Tumblrs: it does exactly what you need it to, and delivers you more happiness than most of the actual people in your life. Need to see what The Incredibles would look like with Batman in it? You’ve come to the right place. Ever dreamed of seeing Batman burst from that dude’s chest in Alien? Of course you have! Want to see Kevin Spacey’s naked dream girl from American Beauty covered in thousands of tiny Batmans instead of rose petals? ‘It’s Better With Batman’ is here for you, you weirdo!
Despite Reid’s best efforts, though, ‘It’s Better With Batman’ will never approach the heights of ridiculousness that Batman & Robin did in 1997.
