George R.R. Martin has a new book released today called The World of Ice & Fire: The Untold History of Westeros and the Game of Thrones (A Song of Ice and Fire) — an interim book with a self-explanatory title, which he wrote to tide you over until The Winds of Winter.
He recently stopped by a community centre in New York to talk at length about the book, which he put together with Elio M. Garcia, Jr. and Linda Antonsson — the two superfans behind the fan site Westeros.org, who must be pleased as punch with themselves.
