Hereditary is the feature debut of writer-director Ari Aster, who has unleashed a nightmare vision of a domestic breakdown which has been dubbed “the most traumatically terrifying horror movie in ages”.

Starring Academy Award-winner Toni Collette, Gabriel Byrne, Alex Wolff, and Ann Dowd from The Handmaid’s Tale, the film is the chilling story of one family’s terrifying ancestry and the sinister fate they seem to have inherited.

After terrifying film festival goers at Sundance and SXSW earlier this year, the film will hit Australian cinemas on June 7 and we have tickets to special advanced screenings in Sydney and Melbourne.

For your chance to win one of 25 double passes, tell us in 25 words or less, what’s your scariest horror film moment and why?
