Here Are The Nominations For This Year’s Golden Globes
Did your favourite make the cut?
Black Panther. Crazy Rich Asians. The Good Place, Killing Eve. Fat Christian Bale. Scary Nicole Kidman. That’s right folks, the Golden Globe nominations are officially here.
As always, there’s a lot of digest. Marvel got its first Best Drama nod courtesy of Black Panther, which goes up against BlacKkKlansman, Bohemian Rhapsody, A Star is Born and If Beale Street Could Talk. Meanwhile, Best Musical or Comedy will be a fight between Crazy Rich Asians, The Favourite, Green Book, Mary Poppins Returns and Vice.
Vice, a comedy-drama about former Vice President Dick Cheney, has the most nominations of any film, with nods for Best Comedy, Best Director for Adam McKay, Best Actor for Christian Bale, Best Supporting Actress for Amy Adams, Best Supporting Actor for Sam Rockwell, and Best Screenplay. Hot on its heels is A Star Is Born, which will compete for Best Drama, Best Director for Bradley Cooper, Best Actor for Bradley Cooper, Best Actress for Lady Gaga and Best Original Song for Lady Gaga.
In the television categories, The Americans, Bodyguard, Homecoming, Killing Eve and Pose are up for Best Drama, while Barry, The Good Place, Kidding, The Kominsky Method and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel are earned nominations for Best Comedy.
Okay, enough fucking around.
