Fox News has delivered some questionable segments over the years, but this one about “woke-free TV”, the measles and the Netflix show You truly takes the cake.

While Tucker Carlson, the far-right Fox News commentator who called Australians “peasants” and claimed we were under martial law for following mask mandates, is normally the one delivering the mind-numbing takes, Laura Ingraham has given us a doozy of her own.

During yesterday’s The Ingraham Angle, the Fox News host dedicated an entire segment to tearing into the “woke” storylines around COVID-19 and vaccination that have been in shows lately.

Joining her for this tedious topic, conservative commentator Raymond Arroyo decided to bring up the Netflix smash-hit You, which featured an episode on anti-vaxxers and the spread of measles through a kid’s party in its latest season.

Despite being a pretty straight-forward topic of discussion, considering the segment was literally all about woke storylines, You’s measles plot caused a whole lot of confusion for Ingraham which just sent the entire segment into pure chaos.

“You know, I was watching an episode of You where measles came up,” Arroyo said.

“Wait, wait, wait,” Ingraham interrupted. “When did I mention measles?”

“I don’t know. It was on You,” Arroyo reiterated.

“What was on me?” she asked. “What are you talking about? I’ve never had measles. We never did a measles and vaccine episode. Is this a joke? Raymond, I’ve never had — I’ve never had measles. This is stupid!”

“NO. IT WAS ON YOU. It was an episode of a show, Laura,” Arroyo clarified. “YOU. YOU. IT’S CALLED YOU. It’s a show called You on Netflix.”

“There’s a show called Laura Ingraham on Netflix?” the Fox News host asked again before Arroyo just completely gave up and moved onto another segment.

When footage of the baffling interaction made its way online, people couldn’t believe just how clueless the conservative commentator seemed to be.

But while some likened the interaction to a skit you’d only see on Saturday Night Live, others claimed that the ‘Who’s on First?’ and Rush Hour 3 ‘Yu & Mi’ style back-and-forth was totally intentional and scripted. Even You’s Penn Badgley weighed in on the clip to share that he thought the segment was “definitely a bit” but added that Arroyo’s delivery was “great tho”.

“It’s gotta be a bit. Dude is committed, he actually made me lol,” Badgley added. “But watch how he waits for her to cut him off.”

Raymond Arroyo eventually took to Twitter and claimed that the bit was “totally scripted” but most are struggling to believe that Laura Ingraham is anything but as clueless as the segment made her out to be.
