The marketing team at Disney have gifted us with the first official cast photo from the upcoming young Han Solo movie, providing a timely reminder that only very attractive people get to go into space.

The pic features Alden Ehrenreich as the iconic space pirate in the cockpit of the Millennium Falcon, flanked by castmates Woody Harrelson, Emelia Clarke, Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Donald Glover (as Lando, ahhhh!) plus Finnish basketball player Joonas Suotamo as Chewbacca and filmmakers Phil Lord and Christopher Miller.

According to an official plot synopsis that hit the internet at the same time as the photo, “the movie will explore the duo’s adventures before the events of Star Wars: A New Hope, including their early encounters with that other card-playing rogue from a galaxy far, far away, Lando Calrissian.”

The as-of-yet untitled Star Wars spinoff entered production yesterday at Pinewood Studios in London, and is set to be released in May 2018.
