Even Louis Theroux Is Excited About The Western Bulldogs Making The Grand Final
Number one fan.
Last night at Spotless Stadium, after two of the most heart-stopping hours of football you’ll ever see, perennial underdogs the Western Bulldogs emerged victorious over the Greater Western Sydney Giants and secured a spot in their first Grand Final since 1961.
The last time the Western Bulldogs played in a Grand Final, the Berlin wall had just been erected. #AFLGiantsDogs

Needless to say, the fans were pretty excited.

But amidst the seemingly endless outpouring of jubilation of social media, one excited tweet came from a somewhat unexpected place: the account of UK documentary filmmaker Louis Theroux.
Western Bulldogs in the Grand Final! Unbelievable!

Theroux is currently in Melbourne for a speaking tour. When he became a Bulldogs supporter, or an AFL fan at all for that matter, is a little less clear.
@louistheroux mate you don’t even go to school here.

The Bulldogs will line-up against the Sydney Swans in the AFL Grand Final next Saturday. Pretty much the entire country will be rooting for them.
