The way he pronounces her name is truly...something.

Donald Trump has used his last public rally before the 2020 US presidential election to trash talk a variety of Democrat-supporting celebrities, including someone he calls ‘Laydeeey Gah Gah’.

The Chromatica citizen has been campaigning alongside Democrat candidate Joe Biden in the last few days in Pennsylvania, one of the key states this election, and one where the pop-star once lived for a few years with ex-fiancé Taylor Kinney.

Gaga hasn’t only been encouraging fans to vote via social media, but getting out and about, too — including performance and speech at Monday night’s rally for Biden.

Trump did not like this at all, of course, taking the time in his last rally of his campaign to call out Lady Gaga by calling her “not too good”, and assuring his audience he could ‘tell them stories about Lady Gaga’. The way he pronounces her name simply has to be heard to be believed.

Trump also took aim at Democratic supporters LeBron James (“LeBron James sucks!”), Jon Bon Jovi (who he said “kisses my ass”), and Beyoncé, who he called ‘Beyonsee’.

But Gaga has been in the Trump campaign’s cross-hairs the past few days, with communications director Tim Murtaugh releasing a statement calling Gaga an “anti-fracking activist”.

Fracking is big business in Pennsylvania, and while Biden has recently said he won’t ban the environmentally damaging practice, Murtaugh is trying to paint him as a prawn to a pop star’s opinions.

Gaga responded to Murtaugh’s tweet, saying she was “so happy I’m glad to be living rent-free” in his  and Trump’s head. If so, she’s lived there for more than a decade: back in 2010, Trump attended Gaga’s Monster Ball tour, and tweeted that she was “fantastic”.

On Monday night, Gaga gave a speech at Biden’s final rally, and performed both ‘Shallow’ and Born This Way track ‘You & I’, changing the lyrics to be about Biden. Over the weekend, Gaga posted a video encouraging people who don’t approve of either party to vote regardless, while wearing famous outfits from across her career.
