The Very Cursed And Very Stupid “Da Vinky” Twins Have Become A Massive Meme
"Da Vinky is the only funny thing to happen in 2020."
About a week ago, the Vörös “Da Vinky” Twins went viral when they were stumped by a TikTok trivia filter that asked them who painted the Mona Lisa.
Confident in their answer that Mona Lisa painted the Mona Lisa (the logic here is astounding), Chris and Patrick Vörös were confused when the filter revealed that Leonardo Da Vinci was responsible for the iconic artwork.
In fact, the Vörös twins were so confused that they blurted out “Da Vinky??” in unison when the answer popped up on screen.

In a shock to no one, the “Da Vinky” clip was actually only a small part of the twin’s abysmal attempt at answering some pretty simple trivia questions.
Between guessing that there are “32 hours” in two days, to claiming that the Cold War ended in “summer time”, to calling London’s famous clock the “Big Ted”, it was safe to assume that these men were being very serious with just how little they know in life.
But despite uploading the full-length trivia video to TikTok in late July, it wasn’t until the twins shared the “Da Vinky” clip on its own that it went viral — which isn’t at all surprising.
While the clip is only five seconds long, everything about it is pure perfection: The twin’s egg-shaped heads. The Pauly D from Jersey Shore-esque bleach blonde blowouts with some very bad regrowth. The synchronised upward inflection in “Da Vinky”. Everything is iconic.

Perhaps our humour is broken because we’ve got not much else to find joy in these days, but the internet are now, understandably, obsessed with the Hungarian-Canadian brothers. Being the perfect example of a Himbo — the male version of a Bimbo — the Vörös twins have captivated the internet.
Since the cursed “Da Vinky” clip made its way online, people haven’t been able to stop making memes out of the twins and their seemingly empty brains. However, it must be sadly noted that the Vörös twins say that they “obviously know who Leonardo Da Vinci is” and that their viral clip is just a “silly video”, reports BuzzFeed News.
But honestly, even with that heartbreaking knowledge, it doesn’t make Da Vinky and the memes any less funny.

The meme has even come full circle with people on TikTok using the “Da Vinky” audio to create videos of their own to either poke fun at the Himbo brothers or as the punchline to their own jokes.
Honestly, the Vörös twins gave us “Da Vinky” to save 2020. It’s the only logical answer.
