Meryl Streep Goes Full Meryl In The First Trailer For ‘Big Little Lies’ Season 2
Those liars just keep on lying!
HBO has unveiled the first trailer for Big Little Lies season 2, featuring 100 percent more Meryl Streep than season 1!
The Oscar-winning actor joins the acclaimed series as the mother of Perry Wright (Alexander Skarsgard). Wright ~spoiler alert~ bit the dust at the end of the first season after being pushed down a flight of stairs by Bonnie (Zoe Kravitz). And now his mum’s here to get figure out what happened to her pride and joy.
“I want to know what happened that night,” she says, Meryl Streeperly, to Reece Witherspoon’s Madeline. “I’m very tempted to ask you but I, I don’t think I would get the truth, would I?”
Damn, Meryl. Damn.
Big Little Lies season 2 will premiere on HBO in the US on June 9, and will hit Foxtel in Australia not long after that.
