Yep, you read that right: the folks over at Welcome To Bowen Hills are throwing a two-day festival dedicated to all things chicken nuggets and the delicious dipping sauces that accompany them. A heap of vendors like Belles Hot Chicken and King Of The Wings will be dishing up all kinds of nugget concoctions while you can just drink, eat and enjoy. Need we say more?

Briggs Presents: Bad Apples Music House Party

On the eve of the inaugural Reconciliation Day, Australia’s most prolific Indigenous record label is throwing a huge party to bring everyone together in celebration of Black Excellence. The house party will be packed out with performances from the Bad Apples Music crew and headlined by Briggs himself, so it’s set to blow the roof off of the Theatre Centre bar.

NRL: Raiders V. Manly Sea Eagles 

With the Sea Eagles claiming victory over the Raiders twice last year, this weekend’s head-to-head is sure to be a great spectacle. Friday night’s game is going to be intense, so rug up and head to the stadium to be part of that atmosphere.

Food Trucks On The Foreshore

Moonah Moves: Silent Disco 

The Moonah Arts Centre is putting on a silent disco this weekend, which is the perfect opportunity to let loose like no one is watching (or listening). There’s a bar, there’s a crowd and there’s most definitely a dance floor for kicking off your Friday night festivities.

No Signal Dance Party 

Perth’s most popping venue is being transformed into a deep rave cave and a strictly no-phone zone for the No Signal Dance Party — a night all about the music, the people and the good vibes. Jack Rabbit Slim’s is the spot to be for DJ sets well into the early hours.

If you’re up for a social Sunday session, the epic and underrated Sydney venue Cake Wines Cellar Door is throwing an all-day brunch party. Cellar Door has been selling out events for over a year, and, between the drinks and the DJs, this Sunday is set to be an absolute scene.

Pop down to Barkly Square for a healthy dose of puppy patting before kicking on or heading home for afternoon beers and bevvy’s to finish off the weekend.

Italian Food Festival 

If you and your mates are into eating and drinking, there’ll be plenty to please you at The Italian Wine And Food Festival.
