It’s been an absolute cracker of a football season, one in which the big names have delivered time and time again. Names like Rioli. Names like Buddy. Names like Gocsy.
In order to promote the Coates Hire AFL Goal of the Year competition, comedian Aaron Gocs – co-host of the very excellent footy show Bump – has pulled on his boots and ill-fitting St Kilda jumper and had a go at recreating some of this seasons’ most iconic snaps.
First he attempts to mimic Daniel Rioli’s freakish banana against West Coast at the MCG. Then it’s up to Darwin, and Jayden Hunt’s insane three quarter time torpedo against the Crows. Finally, he takes off down the wing Lance Franklin style, before driving it home like only Buddy can.
He also finds time for a choccy milk and a pie, as you do.
