A Peek At My ‘Star Wars’ Wishlist For May The 4th

Brought to you by: Disney

May the fourth be with you.

The best holiday is May the 4th. It combines the miracle of Star Wars with the miracle of people giving me things. Yep, every year, my Star Wars friends and I swap gifts on May 4 and it’s typically a delightful affair, full of fancy dress and intergalactic good cheer. There’s a downside to being such an intense fan, though: I’m becoming very difficult to buy for.

I’ve been celebrating Star Wars Day for a long time, so I’ve got quite the collection. I’ve got all the movies on Blu-ray, DVD, VHS, and laserdisc. I’ve got all the action figures and play sets. I’ve got lightsabers and replica helmets. I’ve got ties and socks and cufflinks.

So what do you get the Star Wars fan (me) who has literally everything?

Glad you asked. I’ve put together a wishlist of what I’m after this year. Some of these things are a bit left of centre, but it’s important to think outside the box when you’re giving me a Star Wars gift.

If you want to get me any of these gifts, find a way to get in touch. You won’t regret it.

Darth Vader Electronic Helmet

I did say that I have a lot of helmets, but they’re all small time compared to this one. I mean, it makes the classic Vader breathing sound.

LIGHTSABER Light-Up and Sound Water Bottle

Real Star Wars fans understand the importance of staying hydrated, so I’m going to need one of these light-up lightsaber water bottles. For my health!

LEGO Millennium Falcon

My dream has always been to build a life-size Millennium Falcon and fly around in it. Until that happens, the next best thing would be building this amazing LEGO set.

Doorable Galaxy Mini Peek Blind Box

Given my already vast collection, I didn’t think I needed any other Star Wars figures. Then I found these tiny Doorables, which might be the cutest things I’ve ever seen. I must have all 25. (But we can start with the four that come in the one box.)

Action Figures

I’ve got all the old action figures, but these are new ones! This collection features now-classic characters like Ahsoka and Grogu.

Millennium Falcon Waffle Maker

They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day. I’m pretty sure they also say that the most important breakfast is a Star Wars waffle. I literally would eat nothing but Millennium Falcon waffles for the rest of my days if I had one of these.

R2D2 Popcorn Maker

The popcorn coming out of this little fella will give me the energy I need to watch all the Star Wars movies and shows again — in release order and then in chronological order.

Chewbacca Apron

Yes, the rumours are true. I love to cook. I’m hoping to be making a lot of Millennium Falcon waffles and R2D2 popcorn in the near future. So I’m going to need one of these aprons (please!).

LAIX Master Yoda Force Metal Bookend

This is just an extremely cool looking bookend. If anyone can keep my books up, it’s Yoda.

Star Wars Unlimited – Spark of Rebellion Two-Player Starter

I’ve always wondered if the world of Star Wars could be successfully contained in a card game and now I have my answer: Spark of Rebellion. I can get pretty competitive when it comes to card games, so I’ll have to choose my competitor very carefully.

BonneChance New Baby Yoda Toothpaste Topper

I’ve just about had it with toothpaste containers that won’t close or shoot out way too much toothpaste. From now on, I only want my toothpaste to come from Baby Yoda!

Well, that’s my list. But for some extra inspo I asked around the office and got some other really great ideas for Star Wars gifts people can give me: this unbelievable Black Series Obi-Wan Kenobi Force FX Elite Lightsaber. Something adorable to put my plants in. A trivia game to test my Star Wars knowledge. This serious-builders-only LEGO X-Wing Starfighter. And finally: any and all of these Star Wars costumes. Happy May the 4th everyone.
