50 Cent is not the man we expected to have good taste in music. 50 Cent spruiks hostels in Barcelona and Vitamin Water. 50 Cent was recently forced to declare bankruptcy. 50 Cent has not released a good song since 2005.

But credit where it’s due: 50 Cent knows what’s up.

The rapper born Curtis Jackson has just added two local support acts to his upcoming Australian tour — and they’re really, really good. ‘January 26’ hitmakers A.B. Original and Darwin newcomer Baker Boy will both be joining 50 Cent on tour, fresh from recent big wins: A.B. Original picked up two trophies at November’s ARIA Awards, while Baker Boy recently won NT Song Of The Year at the National Indigenous Music Awards.

50 Cent will play two huge outdoor shows in February, one at Sydney’s Parramatta Park and one at the Melbourne Showgrounds. The tour celebrates the 15th anniversary of Get Rich Or Die Tryin’, Fiddy’s only good album and the one that spawned singles like ‘In Da Club’, ’21 Questions’ and ‘P.I.M.P’. Rap crew G-Unit will also join the tour.

You can grab tickets to both shows here and listen to Baker Boy’s hit ‘Cloud9’ below.
