A YouTuber Tricked Royal Experts Into Sharing Their Lies About Meghan And Harry On Camera
"From start to finish, Meghan was acting," said one royal expert despite never having seen the interview.
The YouTubers who tricked Katie Hopkins into accepting a ‘C-U-N-T’ award last year might have actually managed to one-up themselves with their new royal video.
In their latest video, Josh Pieters and Archie Manners had royal experts sharing their opinions about the much-anticipated Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Oprah interview… despite it not even being out yet.
Yep, unshockingly proving that royal experts aren’t really fair and balanced with all their opinions, especially when it comes to Meghan Markle, the YouTubers had four royal experts give their opinions about CBS Presents Oprah with Meghan and Harry on March 5. An entire three days before the interview had even been seen by anyone.
Posing as a fake production company, the pair got royal commentators Richard Fitzwilliams and Victoria Arbiter, Majesty magazine Editor-in-Chief Ingrid Seward, and even the Queen’s former press secretary, Dickie Arbiter, to share their opinions on the interview they had not yet seen.
The goal? To find out whether professional experts “who influence the public” had already “made up their minds” about the the Duke and Duchess before having even watched Oprah with Meghan and Harry. The answer? Well, yes. Yes they had.
After being told that their comments would be shared after the Meghan and Harry interview had aired in the UK, the royal “experts” weren’t shy to dig in with zero context.
“In the interview, to my mind, this was an actress giving one of her great performances. From start to finish, Meghan was acting,” Seward said while implying that Oprah had gone soft on the couple. “It was an iron fist in a velvet glove.”
Similarly, Fitzwilliams tried to claim that the TV special was “not a balanced interview” because “Oprah is a friend and gave them an easy ride”, despite never having actually seen the interview in question.
Continuing to comment on a topic he had no knowledge of, Fitzwilliams then tried to claim that Meghan had “used extremely strong language to describe her relations with members of the royal household”.

But to be honest, these no-knowledge attacks against Meghan Markle over an interview that hasn’t even aired yet aren’t surprising given the current smear campaign against her.
In the lead up to the Oprah interview, tabloids have spent the week trying to paint the Duchess in the worst light possible by reporting on “bullying” allegations and linking a pair of Meghan Markle’s earrings to murder.
That really is the British media for you.
Oprah with Meghan and Harry airs tonight at 7.30pm on Channel 10.
