I Regret To Inform You That Gen Z Are Wildly Horny For A Johnny Depp Willy Wonka Cosplay
Not even Willy Wonka is safe anymore.
Everyone has different tastes in the people they find attractive, that’s fine. But I have to draw the line somewhere, and that somewhere is a cosplay of Johnny Depp’s Willy Wonka.
I don’t want to kink-shame Gen Z, but being wildly and proudly horny for a bootleg version of Johnny Depp’s character from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is too hard to ignore. No offence to Johnny Depp, but between the pale skin, silky bob and big bug sunglasses, I fail to see the appeal.
But that hasn’t stopped people on TikTok from absolutely frothing over @willywonkatiktok, who has managed to gain six million followers since joining the app in May.
However, Hot Dollar Willy Wonka really only blew up on the app when he posted the thirst trap of him grinding to ‘I Wanna Love You’ by Akon featuring Snoop Dogg, about three weeks ago.
No, seriously the grinding video alone got @willywonkatiktok over 46 million views and five million likes.
The incredibly sexual video of a bare chested @willywonkatiktok — who revealed himself to be Duke Depp, a 19-year-old Charlie and the Chocolate Factory super fan from Utah — had the deranged and horny people of TikTok wanting more.
And so Duke gave them want they asked for: More grinding videos, lip biting, ab reveals, and even twerking to Carole Baskin singing ‘Come Get Her’ by Rae Sremmurd. Honestly, you name it and bootleg Willy Wonka was ready to provide.
Naturally, Gen Z quickly fell in love with Duke’s version of Willy Wonka in all it’s incredibly cursed glory, and so stanning the cosplay chocolatier became its own meme. It’s own very self-aware, but still very horny meme.
It seems strange that Gen Z aren’t simping over Johnny Depp — you know, the man who actually played the Willy Wonka that they all find sexy — but no one can really explain why they find Duke’s version so sexy.
However one thing is for sure, no can escape Willy Wonka anymore — whether they’re just trying to innocently rewatch Charlie and the Chocolate Factory or just attempting to mindlessly scroll on their ForYou page when the ‘I Wanna Love You’ audio pops up, Willy Wonka as a character has been ruined forever.
I mean, look. I guess it could be worse — at least the teens aren’t horny for the Gene Wilder Willy Wonka.
