Widows sees death-stare aficionado and How To Get Away With Murder star Viola Davis form her own crew of kick-ass thieves after her hubby, played by Liam Neeson, dies in an explosion, leaving her up to her intimidating eyeballs in mob-related debt.

The film also features Australia’s Elizabeth Debicki, Michelle Rodriguez, and Cynthia Erivo, with Colin Farrell and ultimate movie daddy Robert Duvall filling out the bonkers cast.

Reviews are unanimously rapturous, with The Guardian calling it “a ferociously entertaining crowd-pleaser” and Vulture equally enamoured, saying, “it’s a stark, violent, cynical but thoroughly entertaining caper picture”.
