iTunes Radio is now a thing, if you can somehow manage to make iOS 7 work

Apple launched their iOS 7 update overnight, causing widespread anger and confusion amongst everyone who’s carefully arranged their icons by colour and genre (or something). It seems the launch was met with a host of downloading glitches and errors:

Among the new features of the update (which is being called “the most radically different one since the launch of the iPhone in 2007“) is a sleek new design, added camera functions, quick controls, some multitasking business, and, perhaps most excitingly, the introduction of iTunes Radio.

The new service — Apple’s answer to Spotify, Rdio, Pandora and the rest of those things — is free as long as you’re okay with ads, and features over 250 DJ-curated and genre-specific stations. “The more you listen, the more personalised your stations become. It’s radio re-imagined,” says Apple. Shut the f**k up, Apple.

To all my fellow Android fools: relax, our lives are as uneventful as ever.

James Franco’s up to some weird shit again

Even though he’s got about 49 movies out this year, James Franco’s clearly never short of time to f**k around. Overnight, he posted these colourfully scrawled images to his Instagram:

As ever, questions: What the f**k is Franco’s point? Is it some kinda comment on celebrity culture? A satirical jab at the tabloid rumour mill? Unchecked narcissism in the modern age? If Franco really was gay, would he find me attractive? Maybe it’s time for me to get a haircut? My toast is burning, isn’t it?

Solange’s new music video will teach you how to dance

It’s for her single ‘Lovers In The Parking Lot’ (featured on last year’s well-received True EP), and it was directed by Solange herself, alongside music video veterans Peter J. Brant and Emily Kai Bock. It’s set in some hipster shopping mall, and you’ll probably be copying those sexy dance moves the next time you’re tipsy in da club.
